A personal note from the company founder, Paul H. Dean:

From my earliest beginnings I have always been associated with alternative medicines. I was raised by my mother with the philosophy that God provides humanity with everything they need to keep them healthy and happy. So when I got sick, instead of being rushed to the doctor like my friends, she would go to the herb pantry and bring forth the herbal remedy needed to assist me in my illness. As a result, I found myself generally in greater health and wellness than my peers.

My first major introduction to the copal (essential oils) was over fifteen years ago. I remember my mother calling me up and excitedly telling me about her wonderful discovery. Through an accident that happened two weeks after that telephone conversation I was converted to the use of the liquid copal oils. I attributed my speedy return to complete mobility after an injury, to the use of these oils. Thus my journey to take charge of my own health began.

Over the years I continued to used supplements and the copal oils and had many wonderful life and healing experiences. I witnessed firsthand many “miracles” involving the liquid copals. It really wasn’t until my return to America in late 1996, that I knew that I wanted the liquid copal to play a major role in my life. With this new focus, and after much deliberation, in the latter half of 1997 I took a significant pay cut and started working for a company that supplied the liquid copal (essential oils) and supplements.

For the most part with me being the sole occupant of my office, as I worked I listened to countless hours of copal and supplements educational tapes. As I listened to the tapes, and through my personal experiences, my excitement for the oils and supplements continued to grow.

As my job functions increased I was able to learn more about many of the day to day operations. I was regularly able to inspect the three places that excited me the most – the farm, the distillery and the lab. For example, I quite enjoyed my inspections at the farm. While I was there I could see first hand the farming operations as well as the distilling process. I spoke regularly with the farm workers and learned quite a lot about how the operation was really being run.

Over the months I became quite saddened by the contradictions I witnessed between what I was hearing on the educational tapes and what I was seeing in actual operation. After one particular shocking experience, I came to the conclusion that if I was going to continue using the essential copal oils and supplements I wanted to be sure that the quality I was paying for was the quality I was receiving. I decided that in order for this to happen I had to do things myself. So I left that company and started importing essential oils from around the world myself.

Also after leaving that company in late 1998, I went to work for another company who was just a few months away from launching their own liquid copal (essential oil) line. This company had put a lot of time and energy into testing their competition’s oils. Due to my own personal experiences, I was not shocked at the results of these tests.

After the new copal line was up and running, I was given the ultimatum of closing down my own company and continue to work for them or leave their employment. I chose to leave that company and put all my energies into the pursuit of building a business with integrity. My goal was to supply high quality supplements and the oils to businesses and the general public. Over the years I have seen firsthand the shocking extent of the adulteration and misinformation that runs rampant throughout the alternative health industry. This has only firmed my resolve to provide the highest quality supplements and liquid copal to our customers.

Locating the best quality herbs and liquid copal can often be a formidable task. Through the years we have dedicated ourselves to finding the country that best provides the highest quality plants and copal for the best pricing. Let me share with you an experience about one such trip. A few years ago I went to Ghana, West Africa. I visited a small village that was growing organic citronella for me. While I was there I inspected the citronella fields, the distilling unit, and interacted with the wonderful people of this village.

Upon returning to America I gave a sample of this citronella oil to a friend that was going over to France to a liquid copal meeting. When he returned, I found out what the experts thought about my citronella. He stated that two of Europe’s top oil experts stated that my citronella was the best that they had ever come across.

This and other such experiences show the quality of oil and herbs that can be achieved when the proper plant is grown in the proper country with good people loving and caring for those plants every step of the way.
